On March 16, IISc Bangalore will announce the results of the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). Candidates who took the GATE 2024 test can view their results at the official website (gate2024.iisc.ac.in).
To check the GATE 2024 result, candidates must enter their enrollment ID/email ID and password. IISc Bangalore administered the test for 30 papers on February 3, 4, 10, and 11.
How to Check GATE 2024 Results
Step 1: Go to the GOAPS portal website, gate2024.iisc.ac.in.
Step 2: Log in with your enrollment ID or email address and password.
Step 3: Select the ‘GATE 2024 Result’ tab.
Step 4: The GATE results will display on the screen. The qualifying GATE cutoff for 2024 will be announced, along with the candidate’s information and scores.
Step 5: Download and save the scorecard for future reference.
Candidates would be able to acquire admission to various MTech courses and PSUs through GATE based on the results of the test.
Last year, the test was held across eight sessions on February 4, 5, 11, and 12. Around 6.70 lakh candidates enrolled for GATE 2023, with around 5.17 lakh appearing for the test. Approximately one lakh students qualified for the GATE 2023. The pass rate was approximately 18 percent.
Some overseas colleges accept GATE scores for admission. Some of these universities are RWTH Aachen University (Germany), Technical University of Munich, Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, and the National University of Singapore.
