Leaders Attending the G20 Summit:

  1. US President Joe Biden: President Biden will travel to India for the G20 Summit and is expected to hold bilateral meetings with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
  2. Chinese Premier Li Qiang: Leading China’s delegation, Premier Li Qiang will attend the summit, as President Xi Jinping opted out, marking the first time a Chinese president has missed a G20 leaders’ summit.
  3. British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak: PM Rishi Sunak will make his first official visit to India after taking office by attending the G20 Summit.
  4. Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese: Prime Minister Albanese confirmed his in-person attendance, emphasizing Australia’s commitment to India Pacific and regional stability.
  5. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau: PM Trudeau will travel to Indonesia for the ASEAN summit before attending the G20 Summit in New Delhi.
  6. German Chancellor Olaf Scholz: Chancellor Scholz has confirmed his attendance, highlighting the summit’s significance despite the absence of Russia and China’s heads of state.
  7. Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida: Japan’s Prime Minister will attend the summit and may address Russia’s actions in Ukraine.
