Farah and Sajid Khan’s mother, Menaka Irani, died at the age of 79 in Mumbai. She was also the sister of popular child performers Daisy Irani and Honey Irani.
Menaka, who appeared in the film Bachpan (1963), turned 79 just two weeks ago. Farah Khan posted warm birthday wishes on social media, emphasizing her mother’s resilience and sense of humor in the face of health challenges. Farah said, “We all take our mothers for granted, especially mine! This month has shown me how much I adore my mother, Menaka. She’s shown incredible strength and bravery. Happy Birthday, Mom! Menaka was married to director Kamran Khan and endured numerous hardships following his death. Farah has revealed how their once-affluent family slipped into financial difficulties. She described how they became the “poor cousins” of the family, dealing with the aftermath of her father’s death and their financial difficulties. Despite these difficulties, their relatives provided them with emotional support.
