Today at ESIC Headquarters, a Suvidha Samagam was conducted under the direction of Dr. Rajendra Kumar, Director General of ESIC. Through video conferencing, representatives of Employers, Employees, and Insured Persons virtually joined the suvidha samagam from different ESIC field offices around the nation.
The Director General patiently heard the concerns and grievances of ESIC stakeholders during the suvidha samagam and directed all responsible ESIC personnel to offer immediate resolution of the issues. If immediate resolution of the grievances was not possible, the DG and ESIC instructed that the grievances be resolved within a week.
During the meeting, Dr. Rajendra Kumar stated that the organisation and its stakeholders benefit from events like Suvidha Samagam. Recognising the need to give beneficiaries and insured persons a way to voice their complaints, ESIC, in partnership with EPFO’s “Nidhi Apke Nikat” initiative, hosts Suvidha Samagams on the 27th of each month in one location to address and alleviate issues that affect ESIC stakeholders.
The Financial Commissioner, Insurance Commissioners, Medical Commissioners, and representatives from the ESIC headquarters and field offices were also present during the meeting.
