Last year, the Delhi Police filed a chargesheet against Sukesh, his wife Leena Maria Paul, and others, alleging that he extorted Rs 200 crore from the wife of former Fortis Healthcare promoter Shivinder Singh.
Nora Fatehi refuted the allegations that conman Sukesh gifted her a BMW. She told the police that the car was gifted by Sukesh’s wife in return for attending an event in Chennai.
Earlier, the Enforcement Directorate had named actor Jacqueline Fernandez as an accused in the Rs 200 crore extortion case. The ED had also filed the chargesheet against the Bollywood actor in August.

Sources said that the ED had found Jacqueline to be the beneficiary of the proceeds of the extorted money. The ED believes she was aware that conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar was an extortionist. Statements by key witnesses and accused have revealed that Jacqueline Fernandez was continuously in touch with Sukesh over video calls. Sukesh also confessed to giving gifts to the Sri Lanka-born actor.
Meanwhile, Jacqueline has now been summoned by the EOW to record her statement in the case on September 12.
