‘If any Hindu is targeted in Kashmir after this…’: Vivek Agnihotri on threat to Kashmiri Pandits

Vivek Agnihotri, the director of ‘The Kashmir Files’, on Monday, took to Twitter and lamented once again the remarks by Israeli filmmaker Nadav Lapid, who called his film ‘vulgar’ and ‘propaganda’. Agnihotri posted a series of tweets after a terrorist outfit allegedly threatened Kashmiri Pandits living in the Valley once again.

“If any Hindu is targeted in Kashmir after this, you know who has the blood on his/her hand… Pl save this tweet,” Agnihotri posted on Twitter.

Agnihotri’s tweet comes after The Resistance Front, an offshoot of the Lashkar-e-Taiba, issued a list of Kashmiri Hindus living in the Valley.

In his tweet, Agnihotri also attached images of Lapid speaking at the International Film Festival of India in Goa and a news piece of former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti backing Israeli filmmaker’s remarks against The Kashmir Files.

Meanwhile, the Kashmir Pandits working in the Valley are in a state of fear after the terror group released a list of 56 employees from the community.

Earlier in the day, a blog linked to The Resistance Front (TRF) published a list of 56 Kashmiri Pandit employees under the Prime Minister’s Rehabilitation Package (PMRP) and warned of mounting attacks on them.

The Kashmir unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has demanded a probe into the leaked list of employees posted in Kashmir Valley which was circulated on social media.
