At noon on Monday, the Election Commission will release the schedule for the assembly elections that will take place in five states.
The commission will declare the dates for the assembly elections in Telangana, Mizoram, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Chhattisgarh.
The Mizoram assembly’s term ends on December 17. The northeastern state is governed by the Mizo National Front.
On various dates in January of the following year, the periods of the legislative assembly in Telangana, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, and Rajasthan come to an end.
Madhya Pradesh is governed by the BJP, while Telangana is governed by the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS). In Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh, the Congress is in charge.
