Applications are being accepted for the Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) at Delhi University (DU). At the official website, itep.uod.ac.in, interested parties can finish their registration for DU ITEP 2023. The registration cutoff date is October 20, 2023.
ITEP is a four-year degree programme that prioritises the development of a multidisciplinary approach to teacher education within higher education, as stated in the National Education Policy (NEP) of 2020.
The eight-semester course leads to a bachelor’s degree with a dual major. One major focuses on education while the other is disciplinary or interdisciplinary in nature. This year, ITEP is offered at Mata Sundari College and Shyama Prasad Mukherjee College, two prestigious women’s colleges. These colleges also offer stage-specific specializations in B.A. 8. Ed. (Middle) and B.A. 8. Ed. (Secondary), as stated in the university’s release.
Women applicants who are interested in ITEP must have taken the NTA-administered National Common Entrance Test (NCET) in 2023.
According to the official statement, aspirants must register at itep.uod.ac.in and use their NCET-2023 application number to submit an application to the University of Delhi.
