The ‘Skills on Wheels’ programme was introduced in Delhi on Sunday by Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and Union Minister of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Dharmendra Pradhan.
The effort aims to raise knowledge of the government’s mission, possibilities, and support system for young people in the area of skill development.

“This scheme with the help of NSDC has been launched to promote digital literacy and digital skills in which India is developing global competency.” An innovative experiment is called Skills on Wheels. The launch of PM Vishwakarma’s Yojana today demonstrates the Indian government’s commitment to giving traditional artisans skills as well as 21st-century digital skills, Dharmendra Pradhan said in a statement to reporters.

“This bus and experimental laboratory will go to the villages of Rajasthan. Later it will go to other parts of the country. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla is present here. He will send this bus to Rajasthan. Later it will go to other parts of the country,” he added.
