On August 1, the University of Delhi issued the calendar for allocation-cum-admission for all undergraduate programs at all of its colleges for the academic year 2024-25. Candidates can find the complete timetable on the official website — admission.uod.ac.in.
In this phase, individuals who registered for admission in phase one can select their preferred programs and college combinations.
The start of phase II of CSAS
The Delhi University has stated that Phase II of the Common Seat Allocation System, Undergraduate 2024 (CSAS UG) would begin on August 1, following the National Testing Agency’s (NTA) publication of the results of the Common University Entrance Test, Undergraduate (CUET UG).
Candidates who have successfully completed Phase 1 must check in to their dashboard at ugadmission.uod.ac.in to select their preferred programs and college combinations, subject to meeting the eligibility requirements.
Candidates who have yet to register on the CSAS portal will be able to do so, since the University has opted to keep both phases available until 4:59 p.m. on August 7. Phases I and II will close at 4:59 p.m. on August 7, and the preferences stored or submitted by the candidate will be auto-locked upon reaching the deadline of 5 p.m. on August 9.
In Phase-II, the candidates will have to map the subjects studied by them in Class 12 to those in which they have appeared in CUET 2024. Only those CUET papers will be considered in which the candidates have passed his/her Class 12 board exam.
Candidates must refer to the information bulletin for details related to similarity of the subjects. It will be the sole responsibility of the candidate to provide correct subject-mapping. The decision of university in this regard shall be final and binding. Also, General Test of CUET UG 2024 will not be mapped to any subject.
The correction window for the candidates who have already registered in Phase 1 of CSAS is open from July 30 till August 4 (11:59 pm). The preference filling for program and college will be available from August 1 to August 7 till 4:59 pm. The auto lock of preference will be done on August 9, 5 pm. The declaration of Simulated ranks will be out on August 11 (5 pm) and from then the candidates have time till Monday, August 12 to change their preference accordingly. The first CSAS seat allocation list will be out on August 16.
The later stages include acceptance, verification by college online payment of fees. Candidates can refer to the given image for reference:
Public Awareness Webinars
The University’s Admission Branch has put up numerous help desks, including a Chat-Bot and an email facility, to assist prospective students with their inquiries. Furthermore, help desks are offered at certain colleges. For more information, visit admission.uod.ac.in.
To assist candidates with the admissions process, the Admission Branch will provide a series of webinars. These workshops will go over how to fill up preferences, connect Class 12 subjects to CUET papers, and other important details. The first webinar is set for Friday, August 2nd at 12:00 noon and will be streamed live on the university’s official YouTube channel, University of Delhi.
