With frequent fake bomb threats causing fear among school administrators, Delhi Police has decided to educate teachers and school workers to cope with such situations, an official said on Monday.
He stated that the police will collaborate with the Education Department to provide a session for teachers from all government and private schools.
“We will teach how to stay calm, react, and coordinate with police during a bomb threat in schools,” said Deputy Commissioner of authorities (Shahdara) Prashant Gautam.
He stated that the training session will help raise awareness regarding cybercrimes.
Several schools in Delhi have received fake bomb threats in the last ten days. The threats disrupted lessons and prompted multi-agency search efforts.
