Environment Minister Gopal Rai said on Wednesday that half of the employees of Delhi government buildings will work from home due to the city’s high pollution levels.
Half of government employees will work from home, according to a post by Rai on X. He stated that a meeting with the officers later in the day will be held to discuss the implementation of the provision.
The government had already declared that the MCD and its offices will have different hours.
Delhi government offices were open from 10 am to 6.30 pm, while the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) offices were open from 8.30 am to 5 pm.
