DCW Chief Swati Maliwal Hospital Protest Over Denied Access to Sexual Assault Victim

Chief of the Delhi Commission for Women (DCW), Swati Maliwal, spent Monday night in the hospital after being prevented from meeting the 16-year-old victim of a senior Delhi government official’s sexual assault.

The girl was sexually assaulted for a number of months, which led to her being pregnant. Premoday Khakha, a government officer, was detained on Monday along with his wife, Seema Rani, both 50.
