The six defendants who damaged Pushpa 2 star Allu Arjun’s home in the exclusive Jubilee Hills neighborhood were granted bail by a Hyderabad court on Monday. Advocate Ramdas was quoted by news agency ANI as saying that the defendants were brought to the court this morning.
According to DCP West Zone, a group of individuals carrying signs broke into the Pushpa 2 actor’s home and caused damage. Suddenly, one of the individuals began tossing tomatoes while mounted within the enclosure.
A group of people, including actor Allu Arjun, attempted to enter the actor’s house forcefully after an altercation with security staff. The group claimed to be part of the Osmania University Joint Action Committee (OU-JAC) and demanded ₹1 crore as compensation for the family of Revathi, a woman who died in a stampede at Hyderabad’s Sandhya Theatre.
Arjun, who was present for the premiere of his film Pushpa 2: The Rule, was arrested and granted bail by the Telangana High Court. The incident occurred during a stampede at Hyderabad’s Sandhya Theatre, where Revathi’s 9-year-old son is currently in a critical condition.
\The police have arrested the vandalizers and filed a case against them. Arjun was arrested on December 13 and granted bail by the Telangana High Court. Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and the Hyderabad police have since levelled serious allegations against the actor. The incident highlights the need for restraint and the law to take its course.
