The curriculum for several courses in Classes 11 and 12 has been updated by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE). The new curriculum for the Indian School Certificate (ISC) and its contents may be seen on the Council’s website, cisce.org, under the “Library (Publications)” category.
The Class 12 syllabus has been modified by CISCE in a number of disciplines, including geography, political science, sociology, psychology, legal studies, physics, chemistry, mathematics, history, commerce, and accounting. The Council also said The syllabus and its scope of the remaining subjects remain unchanged.
While for Class 11, syllabus for only chemistry, mathematics, biology and history have been changed.
The Council has asked the heads of schools to disseminate the information on the change in CISCE syllabus to all students, teachers, parents and guardians.
CISCE has made the ISC Class 12 revised syllabus 2025 and Class 12 ISC academic year 2024-25 revised syllabus at cisce.org/regulations-and-syllabuses-isc-class-xiirevised-syllabus-2025-in-selected-subjects and cisce.org/regulations-and-syllabuses-isc-2026/ respectively.
