A Garba song, written by Prime Minister Narendra Modi several years ago, has been released in a music video just before the onset of the Navratri festival. The song, titled ‘Garbo,’ is sung by Dhvani Bhanushali and composed by Tanishk Bagchi. It was released under the banner of Jjust Music, a music label established by actor-producer Jackky Bhagnani.
The song has gained popularity online, amassing over a million views on YouTube within six hours of its release. Prime Minister Modi also mentioned that he has recently written a new Garba song, which he intends to share during the upcoming Navratri festival.
In response to Dhvani Bhanushali’s tweet, PM Modi thanked her, Tanishk Bagchi, and the team at Jjust Music for the “lovely rendition” of the Garba he had written years ago.
Navratri is a widely celebrated Hindu festival, and Gujarat is particularly known for its nine-night dance festival during this period, celebrating with ras garba music and stories of Lord Krishna and the Gopis.
