The Central Council for Research in Ayurveda Sciences (CCRAS), which is part of the Ministry of Ayush, launched the Ayurveda Gyan Naipunya Initiative (AGNI) in New Delhi on Wednesday. Through scientific validation and evidence-based assessment, the program intends to foster research for mainstreaming pragmatic Ayurvedic methods.
According to a release from the Ministry of Ayush, interested Ayurveda Practitioners should email their interest to ccrasagni[at]gmail[dot]com by December 15th.
Speaking at the ceremony, Prof Rabinarayanan Acharya, Director General of CCRAS, stated that this initiative will give a platform for Ayurveda practitioners to report on their creative techniques and experiences in various disease situations.
He also stated that the program intends to do research for the purpose of mainstreaming pragmatic approaches through scientific validation and evidence-based assessment.
