The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a letter alerting students and instructors against bogus news concerning the 2025 board test circulating on social media. Dismissing press claims claiming a 15% drop in curriculum and the holding of open book tests for the board exam 2025, CBSE stated that no modifications have been made to the exam pattern for the following year.
The statement also indicated that the board has not yet issued an official notification on the board test 2025. It was highlighted that any information on the 2025 exam will only be released on the board’s official website, thus stakeholders should avoid considering such claims.
According to certain news sources, the CBSE has announced a 15% decrease in the syllabus for Classes 10 and 12 for the 2025 board examinations, as well as the implementation of open book exams.
The board will announce the date sheet for the Class 10 and 12 board examinations by the end of November. The board normally announces the exam dates in November. According to recent patterns, the 2025 board examinations for Classes 10 and 12 are likely to commence on February 15, 2025. While CBSE has yet to make an official statement for the boards, the test date is suspected based on a previous CBSE notification.
