The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a notification on the re-evaluation or verification of marks, prior to the release of the class X and XII board exam results. According to the announcement, any student who is dissatisfied with his or her grades may apply for verification.
The board has released a schedule to file the verification request. The official notification read, “Evaluation of the answer books is done under a well-settled policy. There are several checks to ensure that the evaluation is correct and error free. However, after the declaration of result, if the students are not satisfied with their performance communicated through results, CBSE provides an opportunity to the students for verification of marks, facility to obtain the Photocopy of their evaluated answer books and the re-evaluation of their answers after that.”
CBSE has informed the students and parents that applying for the verification has to be done within the stipulated time after which application for the verification will not be entertained. “It has been observed that many students and parents approached the CBSE after the last date is over for availing these facilities on one or another pretext. It is informed that these activities are time-bound and can be availed only online. The Board will accept no request after the last date and in online mode as this breaches important examination safety protocol. Parents, students, and schools are, therefore, being informed of the schedule in advance so that, if need be, they can avail of these facilities as per the instructions issued by the CBSE.”
Here is the proposed schedule for verification and re-evaluation:

The CBSE is set to declare the results for classes X and XII board exams. Once the results are published, students will have access to the marksheets on the official website of CBSE at cbse.gov.in.
