Bobby Deol, who recently witnessed a resurgence in his career after years of professional setbacks, will be a guest on the upcoming episode of “Koffee With Karan.” Alongside his elder brother, Sunny Deol, Bobby will delve into the challenges he faced and the transformation that turned his career around.

Bobby Deol endured a series of career setbacks, marked by a string of flop films and a lack of significant roles. However, in recent years, he experienced a career renaissance, thanks to compelling performances in series like “Ashram” and “Class of ’83,” as well as movies like “Love Hostel.” His upcoming role as the antagonist in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s “Animal” is generating significant buzz and is considered a potential career highlight.

In the upcoming episode of “Koffee With Karan,” Bobby Deol reflects on the trying times in his career, which pushed him into a state of despair. He confesses, “I gave up, I started pitying myself. I just took on drinking a lot, I was sitting at home. I used to keep cursing and saying, why don’t people take me? I am good, why don’t they want to work with me? I think I became so negative about everything, that there was no positiveness coming from me. I used to sit at home, my wife works.”

Bobby Deol shares a poignant moment that marked a turning point in his life. He recounts how a comment from his son made him realize the need for change. “Suddenly I heard my son saying, you know mom, papa sits at home and you go to work every day. Something snapped in me. I just said, no, I can’t! It was a slow process, when I got out of it, it took me time to get into the right mindset to become okay. It can’t happen overnight.”

Bobby Deol also acknowledges the support of his family, particularly his brother, father, mother, and sisters. He emphasizes the importance of taking charge of one’s life and career, stating, “You cannot always do anything holding someone’s hand. You have to walk on your two feet. Then things started changing. I became more focused, more serious.”

The episode featuring the Deol brothers will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar, providing an intimate look at Bobby Deol’s journey from career struggles to his recent successes.
