The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is planning a lavish birthday celebration for former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee today, December 25. The BJP plans to hold a number of events around the country to commemorate Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s 99th birthday. Vajpayee was born on December 25, 1924, in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, and was elected Prime Minister three times.

JP Nadda, national president of the BJP, has requested party officials and state presidents throughout the country to pay floral tributes to Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s image at all booths and discuss the former Prime Minister’s amazing personality and work.

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, remembered former Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his birth anniversary today. 

Praising his dedication towards the nation, he said that Shri Vajpayee will always remain a source of inspiration.

The Prime Minister posted on X:

To honor Vajpayee’s poetry, innovative programs will be organized at each booth. Vajpayee’s birth anniversary is one of the party’s six booth-level programs.

There would be a debate among the beneficiaries at each booth on the government’s schemes, accomplishments, and good governance.

The centennial of Atal Bihari

Addressing the Atal Geet Ganga Program on the eve of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s birth anniversary, Yogi stated that he established the groundwork for welfare packages, huge infrastructure projects, and garnered worldwide respect and honor for India.

The majestic temple dedicated to Lord Ram, representing the principles and goals for which Atal Bihari lived, will be opened by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on January 22, 2024.

“It is also a wonderful coincidence that this year marks the centenary of the birth of Atal Bihari Vajpayee.” On December 25, 1924, he was born. Throughout the year, there will be many programs, and on December 25, 2024, we will be able to witness a magnificent celebration,” he stated. On the occasion, the Chief Minister also honored various individuals.

According to the Chief Minister, the ‘Atal Geet Ganga’ marked the start of a year-long initiative. The state government planned large festivities at the development block, gram panchayat, district, Commissionerate, college, university, assembly, and state levels to commemorate Atal Bihari’s centennial.
