The administration of Andhra Pradesh is working hard to keep its electoral pledges. During the elections, the TDP, Jana Sena, and BJP coalition presented the public with a list of promises known as “Super 6.” Now that they are in charge, they want to carry on these pledges. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu made a big statement today at the NDA Assembly Party gathering about his intentions to give away free gas cylinders.
Clarity on Free Gas Cylinder Scheme :
The Andhra Pradesh government is working to ease the financial burden on poor and middle-class families. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu announced that the Free Gas Cylinder Distribution Scheme, promised during the elections, will be launched soon. This initiative is set to officially debut during the upcoming Diwali festival.
The election manifesto included the Mahashakti scheme, which promises free gas cylinders. With this initiative, CM Chandrababu Naidu is set to begin implementing the Super Six promises. The coalition government will provide three gas cylinders free of charge to poor and middle-class families each year.
However, it is likely that a white ration card will be required to qualify for the free gas cylinder scheme. The distribution will be done in the name of women in families holding this card. There are indications that CM Chandrababu Naidu himself will officially launch the scheme during Diwali.
Alliance Election Promises :
- Three gas cylinders to every house as part of ‘Deepam’ scheme
