Nita and Mukesh Ambani welcomed Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the Shubh Aashirwad ceremony of their son Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant in Mumbai on Saturday. In another video, PM Modi is seen sitting between Isha and Akash Ambani.
Anant Ambani, son of Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani, married Radhika Merchant, the 29-year-old daughter of Viren and Shaila Merchant. The star-studded event took place at Mumbai’s Jio World Drive, owned by the Ambani family. Celebrities, politicians, film stars, and cricketers attended the ceremony.
Earlier that day, PM Modi laid the foundation stone for two twin tunnels between Thane and Borivali and the BMC’s Goregaon-Mulund Link Road. He also inaugurated developmental projects worth Rs 29,400 crore in Mumbai. Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy CMs Devendra Fadnavis, and Ajit Pawar, who were also at the event, felicitated the PM.
Many dignitaries, including the Kardashians, the Bachchan family, A-list stars, politicians, and seers, attended the Day 2 celebrations. Videos from the Shubh Aashirwad and wedding have gone viral on social media.
Guests included reality TV stars Kim and Khloe Kardashian, Nigerian rapper Rema, former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair, and global business leaders like Saudi Aramco CEO Amin Nasser, Samsung Electronics chairman Jay Lee, and GSK plc chief executive Emma Walmsley, among others.
