Actor Yash visited the Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, on Monday to seek Lord Shiva’s blessings. News agency ANI shared a video on X (formerly Twitter), showing Yash inside the temple draped in a grey shawl, praying with folded hands and performing rituals under the guidance of temple priests. He also took part in the sacred early morning Bhasma Aarti, one of the temple’s most spiritually significant ceremonies.

Speaking to ANI, Yash said, “I am very happy. I sought blessings from Lord Shiva, as I am a devoted follower. I prayed for everyone’s happiness and prosperity.” His temple visit reportedly came ahead of the shoot for Nitesh Tiwari’s upcoming film Ramayana.

According to Pinkvilla, after finishing a major schedule of Toxic, Yash is set to begin filming Ramayana in Mumbai. His visit to the temple marks a personal tradition of starting each project with divine blessings.

Ramayana stars Ranbir Kapoor as Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita, and Yash as Ravana. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the film will release in two parts in 2026 and 2027.
