South Korean singer and songwriter, Wheesung born, Choi Whee-sung was found dead in his Seoul apartment on 10 March 2025, Monday. Emergency authorities arrived almost immediately following a report from his family but despite their efforts, he was pronounced dead then and there. 

Authorities are currently investigating any sign of forced entry or foul play but none have been found so far. 

His agency also confirmed the tragic news, stating that this horrifying incident has left his fans, industry friends, and family in utter shock and denial. They've also urged the public to refrain from spreading rumors or unverified reports, out of respect for his loved ones.

Wheesung, one of the major R&B artists, launched in 2002 and rose to fame with popular songs such as *Can't We* and *Insomnia*. Notwithstanding legal issues concerning drug use, he was active in the music scene. He even had an upcoming concert with KCM, his sudden death has left everyone shocked.
