Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge Launch Delayed to May 13: Slimmest Samsung Phone Yet
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge — touted as the slimmest device in Samsung’s lineup — has reportedly been delayed. Initially expected to launch on April 15, the release has now been postponed, possibly due to the recent passing of Samsung co-CEO Han Jong-hee. According to a report by SamMobile, the new launch date is now likely to be May 13. However, Samsung may opt for a low-key unveiling rather than a major event, despite the Edge being a noteworthy innovation.
Retail availability is still uncertain, with sales likely to begin the following month. Measuring just 5.84mm thick, the Galaxy S25 Edge is set to be Samsung’s thinnest phone to date. It features a sleek titanium frame and is expected to come in three colours: Titanium Icy Blue, Jet Black, and Silver. Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and 12GB RAM, it promises smooth performance. The phone will house a 4,000mAh battery, a 200MP dual-camera system on the back, and a 12MP front-facing camera. Leaks continue to stir excitement despite the delay.
