Soon after winning the race for the next Prime Minister of Canada, Mark Carney, former central banker, made his intentions clear with the United States and assured Canadians that they'll keep the retaliatory measures in place as far as the potential trade war goes.

Not only that Canadians don't have to worry, because Ottawa will never be pressured into compromising the country's sovereignty. It'll never become the 51st state of the United States asserting that it'll essentially “destroy their way of life”.

Additionally, Carney slammed America's infamous healthcare system saying they've made it into a business while in Canada, it's a “right”. 

Outgoing Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has also expressed confidence in Canadians' resilience amid these challenges, highlighting the nation's unity in the face of external pressures.
