Major Fire Breaks Out in Bandra Electronics Showroom, NDRF Deployed

A large fire broke out beforehand Tuesday in a  structure  casing an electronics exchange in Bandra, Mumbai, egging  the deployment of the National Disaster Response Force( NDRF) for firefighting operations. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported,  officers said. 

 The fire started around 410 am in a multistorey  structure on Linking Road and  originally spread from the basement to the upper  bottoms. Thick black bank was visible from a distance. At 625 am, the fire was classified as Level IV, indicating it was a major blaze  taking  expansive  sweats to control. The  structure  conterminous to the affected structure was  vacated as a  palladium. 

 By 750 am, an NDRF  platoon had arrived to  help in firefighting  sweats, with 13 fire machines and other vehicles stationed to the  point. elderly Mumbai Fire Brigade  officers, including Chief Ravindra AmAbulgekar, were also present. The cause of the fire remains under  disquisition. 

 This incident follows a major fire on Sunday at the Enforcement Directorate office in Ballard Estate, marking the alternate significant early- morning blaze in Mumbai in two days.
