In his reply to the debate, Union nonages Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju said there's no place in the world safer than India for nonages since India’s a temporal country.
The bill will now move to the Rajya Sabha, where it's anticipated to suffer another lengthy debate. As per news agency PTI, eight hours have been allocated for the discussion.
The government introduced the revised bill after incorporating recommendations from the Joint Parliamentary Committee, which had reviewed the legislation first introduced in August last time. also, the Mussalman Wakf( Repeal) Bill, 2024 has also been approved by the Lok Sabha, following a debate that lasted nearly 12 hours.
