Google Pixel 9a Launching on March 19: Key Upgrades & Features Revealed

Google is set to launch the Pixel 9a on March 19, following last year’s Pixel 8a. Leaks suggest several key upgrades, making it a worthy successor.

The Pixel 9a is expected to feature a larger 6.3-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. A refined design, with a sleeker camera bar and an IP68 rating for better durability, is also anticipated.

Under the hood, the Pixel 9a will likely house the Tensor G4 chipset, improving performance, efficiency, and AI capabilities. It may also include the Titan M2 security coprocessor for enhanced security.

Camera upgrades include a 48MP main sensor with a 13MP ultra-wide lens, promising better low-light performance and dynamic range. The front camera is also expected to improve.

Battery life should see a boost with a rumored 5100mAh battery, offering longer usage, alongside 23W wired and 7.5W wireless charging support.

With these enhancements, the Pixel 9a aims to bring premium features at a competitive price, making it a strong contender in the mid-range segment.
