Recently, Amity University Online has recently unveiled a strategic alliance with HCLTech, a global technology company. This collaboration aims to introduce five specialized academic tracks at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, catering to the dynamic needs of the contemporary job market.

These specializations include MCA with a focus on Cybersecurity, MCA with specialization in Software Engineering, BCA with emphasis on Data Engineering, BCA specializing in Software Engineering and BBA with a concentration in Data Analytics, according to an official release.

This joint venture is poised to equip more than 5,000 learners with skills aligned with industry demands.

Amity University Online and HCLTech have joined forces to craft specialized programmes that integrate industry-relevant curricula and hands-on training. This integration is facilitated through Career Shaper, HCLTech’s learning and assessment platform, the release mentioned.

“Our ultimate objective with these new specializations is to build a bridge between academic knowledge and industry requirements, offering students a holistic education that seamlessly integrates theory with practical skills,” Ajit Chauhan, chairman, Amity University Online, said:

A “Last Mile Job Readiness” program ensures that graduates are ready to transition into the highly skilled workforce at the end of their educational journey. Students that achieve academic and career preparation standards can interview with HCLTech if they are successful.

Through Career Shaper, HCLTech is committed to closing the knowledge gap between academics and the dynamic demands of the IT business by equipping students with information relevant to the industry.

With this partnership, we hope to inspire and educate the upcoming generation of IT workers, giving them the resources they require to thrive and make valuable contributions to the workforce, stated Srimathi Shivashankar, corporate vice president and head of HCLTech’s global ed-tech business.
