In Amethi, Uttar Pradesh, a family of four, including two children, was shot dead when a bunch of miscreants broke into their home in the Shivratanganj surrounding area.
The victims include a government teacher whose whole family was slaughtered by the perpetrators. The tragedy occurred on Thursday night in the Shivratanganj region, and local police responded by rushing to the scene and transporting the dead to a hospital morgue. A case has been recorded at the Shivratanganj police station, and efforts to apprehend the perpetrators have begun.
Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken cognizance of the incident and expressed his grief over the murder of the four members of the family in Amethi. He immediately directed the officials to rush to the spot and ensure stringent action against those involved in the murder incident.
Superintendent of Police (Amethi) Anoop Singh stated that the victim’s family, a resident of Raebareli, which belonged to the SC/ST category had filed a case under the SC/ST Act. The police have registered a case of murder of the government teacher and his wife and children has been registered and a probe has been initiated.
