The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) will be closing registrations for Post Graduate Scholarship applications today. Students admitted to a Master’s degree program at any AICTE-approved university are eligible for the award.

The initiative would reward qualifying students with ₹ 12,400 each month.

An official announcement on the AICTE website stated, “The council has invited online applications from AICTE approved institutions for disbursement of scholarship to the students admitted in AICTE approved institutes/programmes and within approved intake of ME/MTech/MArch/MDes through DBT for the first year students of the academic year 2023-24 having gained qualifying marks with valid GATE/CEED score card.”

The deadline for institutes to create student IDs and students to submit online applications is November 30, 2023. The institute’s deadline for verification is December 15, 2023.

Candidates pursuing postgraduate courses with a good GATE/CEED score and enrolled to AICTE-approved institutes/programs can get the Unique ID from the institute following online registration. These applicants can log in to the AICTE’s official website and upload scanned copies of all original documents in JPG/JPEG format exclusively.

Who Can Apply:

At the time of admission, the candidate must have a valid GATE/CEED score. He or she must be accepted as a full-time student. Students in their final year in dual degree integrated programs will be eligible for PG Scholarships beginning in the ninth semester, but only for one year.

If the university/institute has admitted students from Economically Weaker Sections (EWSs) as per MHRD, AICTE shall offer PG scholarships to an additional 10% of candidates from that course over and beyond the allowed intake.
