The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) is inviting online applications from AICTE-approved institutions for the disbursement of postgraduate scholarships to students admitted in AICTE-approved institutes/programs and within approved intake of ME/ MTech/ MArch/ MDes through DBT for the first year students of the academic year 2023-24 who have obtained qualifying marks with a valid GATE/ CEED score card.
November 30 is the deadline for students to submit their applications online or for institutions to create student IDs. December 15 is the deadline for the institute to verify information.
Students enrolled in postgraduate programmes with valid GATE or CEED scores who are admitted to AICTE-approved programmes and institutes must obtain a unique ID from the institution and log in to the website pgscholarship.aicte-india.org to upload only scanned copies of all original documents in JPG or JPEG format.
Required paperwork includes:
a. Scanned copy of GATE/CEED score card.
b. Bank account should be ACTIVE with Aadhar Card. The students can follow the manual link to check their bank account linkage status with Aadhar on pgscholarship.aicteindia.org/assets/manuals/Manual_for_Bank_account_linkage_with_Aadhaar.PDF
c. Only Aadhar active savings bank account will be considered since the PG Scholarship is released through Aadhaar Bridge Payment System (ABPS) mode through Public Financial Management System (PFMS).
d. No-Frill Account, Jan Dhan account, Bank Account having limits on transactions/credits & Joint Account are not permitted.
Following that, the institute will confirm the student’s information, accept his or her application on the portal, and determine whether the student is eligible for the scholarship to be awarded.
