For her son Anant Ambani’s wedding, Nita Ambani decorated her hands with mehndi. The design was special as it included the names of her family members. Inspired by the Indian tradition of putting loved ones’ names in mehndi, Nita Ambani created a unique version of this custom.
The names of Anant and Radhika Merchant, her daughter Isha and son-in-law Anand Piramal, her son Akash and daughter-in-law Shloka Mehta, and her husband Mukesh Ambani were all part of the mehndi design on Nita Ambani’s hands. Additionally, there was a beautiful Radha-Krishna motif on her palm.
Nita Ambani looked stunning in a peach silk dress designed by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla as she arrived at the wedding venue. She carried a traditional Raman Divo lamp, which is an important symbol in Gujarati weddings and is usually carried by the groom’s mother.
