In a shocking revelation, incarcerated gangster Lawrence Bishnoi has asserted his involvement in the recent killing of Khalistani terrorist Sukhdool Singh, also known as Sukha Duneke, in Canada. The unfortunate incident took place during a clash between rival gangs, shedding light on the ongoing inter-gang violence in the region. Sukha Duneke had affiliations with the Khalistan movement in Canada.
Hailing from Punjab’s Moga district, Sukha Duneke was classified as a “Category A” gangster. Fleeing to Canada with a fraudulent passport in 2017, he had close ties to gangster and Khalistani terrorist Arshdeep Dalla. Notably, he was among the 43 individuals with links to Khalistan and Canada listed by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) recently.

In a Facebook post attributed to Bishnoi’s gang, Duneke was accused of having played a pivotal role in the murders of gangsters Gurlal Brar and Vicky Middukhera. The gang characterized Duneke as a “drug addict” who faced the consequences of his actions and issued a stern warning that their adversaries would find no sanctuary, be it in India or any other country.
It’s worth noting that Lawrence Bishnoi is presently incarcerated in Ahmedabad, facing charges related to drug smuggling, under investigation by the NIA. Additionally, he is an accused in the murder case of singer Sidhu Moosewala.
This development occurs against the backdrop of escalating diplomatic tensions between India and Canada. Recently, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau disclosed “credible allegations” of Indian government agents’ involvement in the killing of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar on Canadian soil in June.
Hardeep Singh Nijjar, a 45-year-old Indian terrorist and leader of the banned Khalistan Tiger Force (KTF), was fatally shot outside a gurdwara in Surrey, British Columbia, on June 18. He was one of India’s most-wanted terrorists, with a bounty of ₹10 lakh on his head.
Amidst these heightened tensions, the Punjab Police has initiated a statewide crackdown on associates of gangster Goldy Brar, another key suspect in the murder case of singer Sidhu Moosewala. Goldy Brar maintains close ties to the Khalistani separatist movement and is believed to be in hiding within Canada, further complicating the diplomatic situation.
As the situation continues to evolve, it remains a matter of concern for both Indian and Canadian authorities, and the ramifications of these developments are closely monitored on the international stage.
