A cricket analytics course named “Howzzat – Cricstats? Exploring the world of cricket analytics” is being offered by the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (IIT-M) in partnership with GITAA, a firm that was founded by IIT Madras.
This course is available online and has an eight-week duration. Students who are interested in applying for it can do so at the official website, digitalskills.pravartak.org.in.
The fee of the programme is Rs 10,000 + GST. Both undergraduate and graduate students may apply for this curriculum. Those in the business who have a passion for sports are also welcome to apply.
Through case studies from the real world, our cooperation will assist participants in learning more about the topic of sports data analytics. In order to help students understand the principles of data science from top academicians, the institutes will bring in industry leaders who can discuss how analytics has impacted sports.
The goal of the course, which was created by academics in the data science field from IIT Madras, is to give students and aspiring sports data analysts the skills to analyze vast amounts of data pertaining to various facets of sports in order to gain insights, make wise decisions, and enhance team and player performance.
