Dharmendra Pradhan, minister of education, skill development, and entrepreneurship, and G. Kishan Reddy, union minister of culture, tourism, and development in the North Eastern Region, have launched the ‘Transforming Lives, Building Futures: Skill Development and Entrepreneurship in the North-East’ initiative. According to an official release, the major goal of this effort is to build a strong skill-centric and industry-ready ecosystem in the North-Eastern Region (NER).

This would be made possible by a variety of schemes and initiatives, including the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY), the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS), and Jan Shikshan Sansthans (JSS).
“We are committed to empowering the local youth of NER by instilling not only employability skills but also a resilient entrepreneurial mindset that seamlessly aligns with the ever-changing demands of industries.” With unrelenting commitment, we are constructing a future in which NER’s youth may thrive. The launch of these skill-focused program as part of the NER’s unique package is set to be a transformative and life-changing venture,” Pradhan said.
