On October 25, enrolled applicants will receive their exam admit cards. On November 26, the exam will be administered in three sessions across 155 test cities.
An applicant must have a bachelor’s degree from a reputable university or institution, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% for candidates from the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disability (PwD) categories).
For SC, ST, and PwD candidates, the application cost for IIM CAT 2023 is ₹1,200. All other candidates must pay an application fee of ₹2,400.
CAT results are expected to be released in the second week of January 2024, with scores valid until December 31, 2024.
There is no unified CAT counselling, and students who pass the exam must apply separately to each institution for admittance. Furthermore, applicants should be aware that simply passing the exam cannot ensure admission, as they will need to engage in additional screening stages at the institute level.
