However, despite the movie becoming a super hit, Joshi did not receive any new work opportunities. The actor went on to reveal that he had taken the role in the film at a time when he was in dire need of money.
The experience of not receiving any work opportunities despite the success of ‘Hum Aapke Hain Koun’ must have been a difficult and challenging time for Joshi. It serves as a reminder that success does not always guarantee continued success in the film industry. Nevertheless, Joshi’s perseverance and talent have been evident in his work since then, most notably in his role as Jethalal Gada in the popular sitcom ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’.
