The University of Delhi (DU) has begun accepting applications for the placement-cum-internship campaign. The employment and internship campaign is being run by the Central employment Cell (CPC), which is part of the Dean Students’ Welfare, DU.
On December 4 and 5, the children will participate in this program. All legitimate normal students enrolled in any course at the undergraduate or graduate level would be able to register for the placement and internship drive, the university announced when it was soliciting applications for the DU placement and internship drive.
The drive will be held at the conference centre, opposite Botany Department, Gate Number 4, DU.
Students who have registered with CPC will be offered placement assistance, counselling for employment and self/social entrepreneurship, reads a CPC website statement.
It further adds, “The CPC assures logistic support to the visiting companies at every stage of the placement process by making university infrastructure available to them.
The CPC will act as an interface between the industry and the students, and will primarily enable the students to select from their career options.”
The Cell also engages in the selection process of all companies as required. It also liaisons with corporate organization’s to provide suitable jobs and internship opportunities for the students of DU.
