On Wednesday, November 27, the Railways unveiled ‘Sanraksha’, a mobile application for frontline safety professionals that provides safety training and capacity building.
The South East Central Railway (SECR) said that its application seeks to provide crucial operational training to lakhs of railway frontline workers, assuring on-demand availability and instant coverage, as well as assessment and measurement of outcomes.
SECR’s senior divisional commercial manager in Nagpur conceived and conceptualized the app.
Namita Tripathi, DRM, Nagpur, stated that the application integrates railway domain knowledge with information technology, data analytics, and the potential use of AI in the future to provide an intelligent, effective, and scalable system to meet the training and capacity-building needs of railway employees.
The program incorporates intelligent learning and feedback algorithms that enable multi-level, real-time feedback and monitoring.
