During this time, a significant fight developed between police officers and residents. In the heat of the moment, the female SHO smacked a kid who was disputing with her.
It was alleged that an accident occurred in the region, resulting in a massive outcry by the people. Ghurka Lodhi, 50, was said to have died as a result of the accident. The driver fled the scene, leaving the people enraged. Following the occurrence, family members and other people rushed to the police station and filed a FIR. However, the police informed them that the region was under the authority of the Budhera police station, infuriating the residents.
To protest the occurrence, villagers stopped the Bargawan-Kharagpur highway, causing traffic to standstill for over an hour. SHO Gupta arrived on the spot to relieve the bottleneck.
