On Tuesday, the Jharkhand High Court issued a notice to cricket player Mahendra Singh Dhoni in a petition filed by his former partners Mihir Diwakar and Soumya Das.
Diwakar and Das are directors of Aarka Sports and Management Ltd, and they signed an arrangement with the former India captain to create cricket academies in his name.
On January 5, Dhoni filed a criminal case against them in Ranchi, alleging that they had defrauded him.
under the complaint suit, he claimed that the couple continued to operate cricket academies under his name after he terminated their permission in 2021.nThe cricketer claimed he was scammed of ₹15 crore.
Diwakar and Das moved the high court, challenging the cognizance taken against them by the court of a judicial magistrate in Ranchi.
Dhoni has been ordered to appear in the matter by the high court and explain his stand.
