GATE 2025: Application Correction Window Deadline Extended – Check Details

The Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee has extended the application correction window for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025. Candidates can make revisions to their applications on the official website until November 10. Earlier, the deadline was November 6.

Female, SC, ST, and PwD applicants must pay an application fee of Rs 900 for GATE 2025, but all other students, including overseas nationals, must pay Rs 1,800.

The deadline for submitting the GATE 2025 application form was October 3, with an extension to October 7 for late entries. For late submissions, the registration cost was raised to Rs 1,400 for female, SC, ST, and PwD applicants and Rs 2,300 for all other candidates.

GATE 2025 is expected to take place on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025. On all test days, the examination will be divided into two sessions: morning and afternoon. There will be 30 objective-type test papers, all in English. It will be administered via computer-based testing (CBT). The sample test links are offered to help GATE 2025 applicants become comfortable with the appearance and feel of the GATE 2025 computer-based test.

Steps to make corrections

Visit the official website: https://gate2025.iitr.ac.in/
Click on the link that reads, “Application rectification link is active now for GATE 2025.
Check the fee charges for modifications and click on the link provided to log in the new window.
Enter your credentials to login and submit.
Make the modifications as required and pay the subsequent fee.
Submit and download the confirmation page.
Keep a printout of the same for future reference.
