Vipul Goel has been appointed as Haryana’s Minister for Revenue, Disaster Management, Urban Local Bodies, and Civil Aviation in the newly formed cabinet under Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini.
This appointment comes after the BJP secured a significant victory in the recent Haryana Assembly elections, winning 48 out of 90 seats.
Goel, who represents the Faridabad constituency, previously served as the Industries Minister in the Khattar government from 2014 to 2019. His political career includes notable achievements such as improving Haryana’s ranking in ease of doing business and initiating environmental projects like extensive tree planting in his constituency.
The new cabinet was sworn in on October 17, 2024, during a ceremony attended by key political figures, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The allocation of portfolios took place shortly thereafter, with Goel’s role reflecting the government’s focus on urban development and disaster management in the state.
