Paris Olympics 2024 Day 6: India’s Schedule for August 1st

Several Indian athletes will compete in important events that could add more medals to India’s collection after a dreary day for them at the ongoing 2024 Summer Games.

At the Paris Olympics 2024, India’s medal push encountered a minor setback on Wednesday due to numerous missed opportunities. Manika Batra’s career at the Paris Games came to an end as she lost in the pre-quarterfinals of the women’s singles competition. Higher ranked Japanese player Miu Hirano defeated Manika, giving the Indian table tennis star a 6-11 9-11 14-12 8-11 6-11 loss in Paris. Paddler Sreeja Akula, celebrating her birthday, lost a fierce battle to world champion Yingshaw Sun.

On the sixth day of the Paris Olympics in 2024, Indian athletes like PV Sindhu, Lakshya Sen, HS Prannoy, Nikhat Zareen, and others will compete in boxing, hockey, and badminton tournaments.

Paris Olympics 2024 Timings

Most of the matches of the Paris Olympics 2024 will begin after 12:00 p.m. PV Sindhu’s match against China’s HE Bing Jiao is scheduled to take place at 10:00 p.m., Whereas the Men’s Badminton Doubles matches will begin after 4 p.m.
