India’s archers are set to kick off the country’s campaign at the Paris Olympics on July 25, a day before the official opening ceremony. Six talented archers will compete in the ranking rounds at the Les Invalides garden in Paris.

The Archers
India has sent a full team of six archers to the Olympics, marking the first time since 2012. The team includes:
– Men: Dhiraj Bommadevara, Tarundeep Rai, Pravin Jadhav.
– Women: Deepika Kumari, Bhajan Kaur, Ankita Bhakat.
Ranking Round
The ranking round determines the seeding for the archers. Each archer will shoot 72 arrows, and their total score will set their seed. The top four teams in the men’s and women’s team events will go straight to the quarterfinals. Teams ranked 5 to 12 will compete in the Round of 16 first.
For the mixed team event, the top scores from the men’s and women’s events will be combined. Only the top 16 pairs will qualify for this event.
