Actor Radhikka Madan is excited about the positive response to her new film, *Sarfira*. Known for her talent and ability to play diverse roles, Radhikka’s performance in the movie has received praise from both critics and audiences. In an interview with IndiaToday.in, she discussed the film’s success and how she feels about being compared to the legendary Sridevi.
Radhikka shared, “I’m really touched by the love *Sarfira* is getting. It’s wonderful to see people appreciate my work. I put a lot of effort into each role, but once it’s done, I try to move on and not dwell on it too much.”
Despite her success, Radhikka is being compared to Sridevi, a celebrated icon in Indian cinema. She feels honored but also humble about these comparisons. “It’s flattering to be mentioned alongside Sridevi, but I don’t think I can ever reach her level. It’s a big deal for me, but I try not to take it too seriously. It’s nice to hear, but I know I can’t be her.”
Radhikka also spoke about handling the pressures and expectations that come with success. She tries to stay balanced and not get too affected by either failures or successes. “When a film doesn’t do well, I ask myself if I gave my best. If I did, I move on. The same goes for when I receive praise. My parents always remind me to celebrate my achievements, so I try to take a moment to appreciate them before moving forward.”
Reflecting on her family’s reaction to *Sarfira*, Radhikka said, “My parents were emotional at the first screening. Seeing myself on screen, especially with my family, is overwhelming. I often don’t realize the impact of my work until I watch it with them. They always feel proud, and it’s touching to see their reaction.”
Radhikka’s brother is her biggest critic, giving her honest feedback. “He’s very straightforward about my performances, but he actually enjoyed *Sarfira*. His honest opinions help keep me grounded.”
*Sarifira*, which also stars Akshay Kumar, was released on July 12 and is directed by Sudha Kongara Prasad.
