Chandrika Dixit Responds to Anil Kapoor’s Accusation on Bigg Boss OTT 3

Chandrika Dixit, popularly known as Vada Pav Girl, was evicted from Bigg Boss OTT 3 in the third week. She was nominated alongside Lovekesh Kataria, Vishal Pandey, and Shivani Kumari.

Chandrika’s journey in the Bigg Boss house had many ups and downs. One of the biggest controversies was when host Anil Kapoor accused her of playing the ‘victim card’. Anil said she often twisted incidents to gain sympathy, especially regarding a comment made by Vishal Pandey about Armaan Malik’s wife, Kritika Malik.

Outside the house, Chandrika firmly denied these accusations. She said, “The meaning of playing a victim card is seeking sympathy by complaining about everything. During my stay, I never did that. I didn’t cry in front of the camera for sympathy. I focused on my life and spoke up when something was wrong.”

Chandrika explained that standing up for others or asking for respect should not be seen as playing a victim. She emphasized, “I’ve never played the victim card and I never will. Yes, I cry sometimes, but I know how to roar like a lioness too.”

Before entering Bigg Boss, Chandrika gained fame for her fighting spirit and hard work, selling vada pavs on the streets of Delhi. She was one of the most talked-about contestants, but her popularity faded once she entered the house.

Chandrika described her stay in the house as short and sweet. She was evicted in the third week of the show, which started on JioCinema on June 21. Reflecting on her time, she said, “I didn’t expect to leave so soon. People inside the house were not against me, but maybe the audience outside was. Perhaps the makers should have chosen contestants with more followers.”

Chandrika also criticized the mentality of fighting and violence in the house. She said, “We should show how to live and survive, the reality of life. That might guide some people.”

Despite her early eviction, Chandrika is glad she left before the game became “messy and dirty.” She believes it will only get worse from here on.

For now, Chandrika is taking a break, watching videos of the show, and spending time with her family. She plans to resume selling vada pavs soon. “It is my bread and butter. It gave me my name and fame, which I don’t take for granted. I like to earn and compete. Life has taken a lot from me, and I have to get it all back,” she concluded.
